I get it. Yeah, Nate's dead. Just when we thought he was gonna make it...he's dead.

But it's almost over anyway...makes perfect sense to me.

He really was kind of a prick now that I think about it...

I thought this thread would sort itself out by fellow 6FU fans, but a few people expressed concern over our beloved poster Nate tha Great, so I would just like to clarify that it is Nate Fisher, the lead character on Six Feet Under, not our poster and 2+2 friend Nate tha Great, who died. Sorry, if this alarmed anyone.

I only watched the 1st season, but if Nate is the not gay son, I always thought he was the best character.

It not only alarmed me, but enraged me. How could 2+2's newest mod post this without a spoiler alert in the subject line? /images/graemlins/mad.gif Now I can go home and erase the episode I DVRed last night.

How could you do this to us JBB? You should remove the Bison Signal as your avatar, Sir. You are not worthy.

It's very fitting, the main character bites the dust. The remaining 6 will be like his euology. It's perfect really.

I can't believe he dumped brenda. Best episode ever.

BottlesOf

I'm not even close to the newest mod.

Sorry about the lack of alert. It was also harldy a spoiler, the clarification today I felt was necessary and outweighed the concerns of people who may have dvred the episode because of serious concern over a real person.

Thanks alot. I only had to read the 1st post in this thread before I knew that the next episode of SFU (not yet on On-Demand here) was spoiled for me.

Your post didn't spoil it for me... it was obvious to me given the last episode from the 1st post what the OP meant. Why isn't this episode available on HBO on demand yet?

Well I'm an idiot. You ARE the OP. Well, the post that explained things didn't ruin it for me, at least....

Only reason I opened this thread was because I thought it had to do with Nate Tha Great...

I can understand the needs for warnings on movies and book spoilers, but I'm not sure we're at the point where we need to put warnings on something that was just broadcast on tv. I don't think we're at the point where the default assumption is people are tivoing things.

OOt should be a place where there can be free discussion on things happening in the entertainment world and that includes important episodes in television series.

If you are a fan of ashow and can't make an episode, I would be sure to exercise extreme caution when opening threads in oot.

I will try to remember to make threads intentions clearer, but that seemed like a good way to get things rolling at the time. In retrospect, it may have been too vague.

Yes, I understand. I would have avoided any thread titled "Six Feet Under", for instance. This thread title made me think it was about something else, though. Not saying you did this on purpose...

Come on man, there's tons of people who don't get to watch the show for whatever reason and Tivo/download it. It wouldn't have been hard to put the title as 'Last night's SFE'.

Anyway, no biggy.

I can't believe they did it HOW they did it. I mean, I thought everything was fine....

I think the remaining episodes are realy imporatnt in evaluating the show's success as a series. There are a lot of deep issues brought up about family, death etc., and I think the show has the opportunity to really make a profound statement, or it might just fall on its face. I'm looking forward to seeing what happens.
