You really played this backwards.
That's a monster flop for you - raise it up, cap if necessary. With a semi-coordinated board and 2 potential overcards, it's not the end of the world if you scare him away, but he's probably not folding anyway on this board unless he's on a complete bluff.

This line is ugly.

Preflop: good. You have a decent hand, and go for the steal. BB calls your steal, so you can figure he doesn't have much...maybe ace-rag, a small to mid pair, or two suited cards.

Flop: why did you just call? You have top pair but not much of a kicker, a strong flush draw and a backdoor straight draw. You'd just as soon end this right here before an ace or king falls to counterfeit your queens, so RAISE. If 3-bet, cap.

Turn: one of the scariest cards in the deck for you falls, Villan bets into you, and NOW you raise?

River: uh, the call is fine, cuz I'd hate to get 3-bet, here, but I told you you wanted to raise the flop.

Why would you just call when you have the best hand and raise when you probably are behind?

Raise and cap maybe the flop, Call down if he keeps showing aggression from the river on.

I would raise the flop here. Just call on the turn. I'd likely raise the river as well unless he was very aggressive throughout the hand.

Remove the word 'Texas' from the HH and it should work for you.
