I'm surprised you found this surprising.

What you should take away from this, and is much more valuable, is how to play the hand if the betting sequence was the same, but you were the original better on the flop instead of calling the action cold.

Can you fill me in here? I'm not sure how the sequence could have been any different.

Sorry, trying to be a bit Sklansky-esque /images/graemlins/smile.gif

What I meant was that if you bet out UTG in a similar situation, and there was a raise and a cold call by some tightish players, you now know that this would be a very comfortable reraising situation.

What about reraising on the flop, the first time the action gets to you? Did you not reraise because it might have driven the SB out, and in this instance you want to keep him in the hand?
