I'm fairly new to baseball betting, and I use pitching data. I have a pretty good handle on the starters, but I'd like to have a way to rate the set-up men and closers; plus the entire bullpen for each team.

Any suggestions? Any books on this topic?
Help much appreciated!

You can get the bullpen's collective ERA by going to ESPN.com-->MLB-->stats-->team stats. Select pitching stats and there's a pull down menu at the top right where you can select "as reliever". Other collective bullpen stats will also be there. ESPN has excellent stats like that.

you might also try baseballprospectus.com they have all sorts of stats, both regular stats and some other ones such as inherited runs allowed and so on.

This is what I use too. I also look at USA Todays game matchup and it has a nice little bullpen section which includes last 3 stats and fatigue. I also look at boxscores daily just to get a feel for who is getting used and when and how effective they are.
