If you get all your chips in preflop every time with KK you won't be making a mistake more than ~5% of the time.

Harrington says to never play KK preflop in fear of AA. Therefore, you did right.

I go broke there too.

Plus, remember you're in a $1 buy-in. Folks are likely to call all in with A3. You absolutely did right.

I don't see what the issue is here. KK vs AA happens. If you could see his cards you wouldn't make calls like that.
