I met skp!!!

So I'm sitting there last Friday nite at the Palace Casino 3-6 HE game and getting my butt kicked for the fourth time in the last five sessions and I'm not liking it very much and I get this tap tap on my shoulder and this guy says "Dunc?" and I look up and I knew immediately who it was for some strange reason before he even introduces himself, and he says "Hi, I'm skp" and I said in my best Western hospitality dulcit tones, "Hey, great to meet you" and what do you know, I'm sitting right beside my protege Stewie, and I go to introduce Stewie to skp as the guy on 2+2 that thought he played the Pocket 10's hand great, and skp knew it was Stewie before I even introduced him, and the 3 of us bs'd for a while and then skp went back to his 4-8 O/8 game, waiting for a 10-20 seat to open up, and I went back to getting crushed by the LOL's and TOM's and newbies in the 3-6 game, and then finally I had had enough punishment for one night and I sweated skp's action in the 4-8 game for a while and then skp, Stewie, and Jay (skp's Edmonton friend) and I went down to the lounge to have some MGD's and listen to a great dance band and visit and relax, and Jay's girlfriend joined us, and she and I danced to Mustang Sally, the band's encore at 1 am, and by this time we had had a couple of brewkies and I was feeling better and skp's seat in the 10-20 game opened up and he went back to the card room to teach the locals a few moves and I went home to bed.

I was in Vancouver on the weekend at HIB asking around for "Sid", trying to find him there! No luck finding him so I had to settle for playing the softest 10-20 I have ever seen, right down to the two Greek guys yelling at each other, asking "Does he LOOK like a man beaten by jacks?".
