Ok first post in here so go easy on me. The villain in this hand is very very loose, but very passive. He is one of those very straightforward loose fish that can do well sometimes because nobody believes their bets. Everytime I've raised preflop (Ive been at this table quite a while) he has called. When he flopped a set he flat called my flop bet and min raised the turn. When he flopped a flush draw he flat called me to the river.

I need his stack size but I can tell you I'd probably raise the flop.

What were you looking for in the flop? That's a great flop for KK. And you should have bet with a possibly flush and straight draw. He only called PF in early pos, so possibly he's sitting with AQ or perhaps if you're unlucky QJ. But that you'll never know if you let him bet and then fold with your overpair. Maybe he put you on AK since you raised PF and checked on the flop. I would have guessed AQ...

Thats about the worst flop I could imagine for KK without having an ace on it. He loves all the cards that fit this flop; 9T, JQ, Q8. He has called my preflop raises every time and not once has he led out at a pot. He flat called with a flush draw and with a set. Im pretty sure that this is two pair/straight trying to induce a reraise. I cant really flat call on this board because there are so many cards that I fear on the turn.

I know theres a chance that I folded the best hand but my instincts told me I was behind, and that any money I put into the pot would be wasted.

nh then. Why make reads if you aren't willing to follow them and make a decision like this? I posted a hand where I folded KK on a JT9 flop with a strong read and got grumbled at for it, so you're not alone. That leaves my only advice then...which would be to raise more preflop. 4xBB + 1 BB per limper. Make it $6 to go preflop.
