Ilya, what else are you going to do? The BB is 400, and when you go all-in with whatever trash comes your way in the next few hands, everyone at the table is getting 4-1 odds to call you.

sorry, that is a good point. i missed that the (original) reraiser won't be given an opportunity to reraise/isolate again after the other guy calls. yes, you're looking at going 3-way -- which sucks. but i still stick with him NOT busting if you fold. dunno if you're going to get a better opportunity than this. your FE is gone. you WILL be getting called with any cards you push after this hand. you won't likely be getting better cards than this. furthermore, a subsequent push is not gaurenteed to get HU anyway. i still think you have to push.

If I had a few more chips so that winning the pot would make me a virtual certainty to cash, then I probably play it, but I'm probably still only about 60-70% to get my ITM even if I win this pot.

this is really tough, but I think that I push.
-This is a $20 so your hand stacks up better
-Even a donk is usually folding utg if you fold.
-If you fold and UTG does push, there's a good chance that he still won't get knocked out.

IMO he has to be an unrealistically bad player for mucking AK here to be correct (i.e, he won't bust THAT often with such a short stack as yours around). And getting to play your AK against 2 opponents all-in is not something you can be too choosy about with your situation in this game.

Lets say a donk is UTG in this position. He gets delt a shiny A8o. He can't bring himself to fold this 4 handed but he doesn't want to put his whole stack in so he mini raises. However anyone with working brain cells realizes after the reraise behind that
-the button has a good hand
-this is a very bad spot to gamble with the BB so short

I'de assume UTG is on a fairly wide range and *most* players are smart enough to fold anything but a monster here.

I think folding is terrible. I think I'd call, increases chances that one player gets bet out of the pot later. And if its checked down you still have like 90 chips or wahtever. Sometimes I read HH's wrong so forgive me if calling puts you allin.

i don't think you can pass up a chance (a good one) to triple up when you're short like this and tripling up actually puts you right back in the thick of things.
