EV?

I searched EV in the archives, couldn't find anything on this specific question...but I was wondering, should I be calculating my EV, fold equity, pot equity, etc. for every single hand I am playing in? And, this should help me decide how much to bet in certain situations, correct?

You should always be thinking about pot equity for every hand you play preflop.
EV should affect every decision that you make, it is the ultimate determining factor in what action to take and what amount is used.
Everything else just factors in to the figuring out EV.
