sorry for the multiple hands but i have trouble in these spots and it happened twice in the same tournament.

hand 1
party $33, 6 handed, 50/100 blinds
hero has 1370
sb has 345

4 folds, sb completes, hero checks 3d8d

hu to the flop (200 pot) 6s 8c Qc

sb bets the min, what do i do? should i have pushed pf?

hand 2
party $33, 5 handed, 75/150 blinds
hero has 950
sb has 540

3 folds, sb pushes 540 total, hero ?

690 total, 390 for hero to call. i think im supposed to call here, but i always get hesitant at the possibility of switching stacks with the shorty.

thanks for any advice.

Hand 1 : I need a read to push preflop, because only an idiot is folding here to a push. He could be getting tricky with a high pair, but often it's some speculative hand. I'd check. Villain only has 1.5bb after betting, so he's committed (but might not understand that). I'd probably fold, sb has odds to call with just overs. I think you're far behind here.

Hand 2: I normally like to look at my cards before deciding to call or fold here.
