Seems I got exactly what I wanted but what a SCARY river card....help on any and all streets, thanks!

I'd been playing alongside the vilian for a while and hadn't seen him get outta line, etc...just some solid play with some good cards.

$15 rebuy/add-on Satellite into the $500 WPT game on Sunday. 21 players remain, top 2 seat and 3-5 cash.

I can't see doing anything other then check-fold on the river. No hand you are ahead of calls a bet. No hand behind bets the river when checked to.

you can lose this hand so many ways its not even funny. straight flush, 4 of a kind, full house, if the guy has the Ad or any pckt pr or the last J...after he called your big bet with the J's on the board this hand would not have seen another nickle of my money..good tight player UTG? i ck the turn and hit fold to any bet

Check/fold.

You may well have been behind even before the river. The way he played the hand is consistent with 55. In any event, it's also consistent with no hand you beat, and there are few hands that will fold the river that have played this way.

I check the flop then call only if getting better than 6 to 1. Bet 2/3 pot on turn. Check/Fold river.

WOW, really? Maybe I'm too much a fan of the semi-bluff/redraw lately but for the cost of the flop bet, when it hits, it HITS hard! /images/graemlins/smile.gif
