I currently play 1/2 6max and am averaging 3bb/100 or 13 dollars an hour. I was having a discussion with a friend and somehow we got into an argument about winrates and such. Anyways it ended with a bet, if i can make 40$ an hour at 3/6 6max for more than 50 hours(including rakeback)by feb.i win, if not he wins. I did some math and...

250 hands an hour 4 tabling at 2.5bb/100=$37.5 dollars an hour. Add in rakeback and im well over my goal.

Do these calculations seem feasible? What do you guys think.

If you're playing four shorthanded tables, you'll be getting about 320 to 340 hands per hour.

$3-6 6MAX tables average around 90 hands per hour. $5-10 6MAX around 95 hph. 4tabling each respectively is ~360 hph and 380 hph.

Yea ill probably get in more hands an hour but I try to practice good table selection which takes more time and means less time im playing all 4 tables. I also sometimes like to 2 table if i get on a real juicy table or 2, and want to focus all my attention on extracting alot from lags and maniacs. The 250 is just a low estimate.

Are there any 1/2 6-max tables that aren't really juicy? Seriously?

Good point. I just mean tables with a 95/40 maniac on my right.

3/6 short games on party have looked really good the little bit I've played but I wouldn't assume you'll run at 2.5 BB/100...was sort of my point. But certainly you should get more hands/hr in. If you can 4-table 6-max with no problem, then I wouldn't spend too much time jumping tables unless you're really on bad ones. Making 1 BB/100 playing 400 hands/hr is probably about the same (I didn't do the math) as making 3BB/100 playing 200 hands/hr with rakeback at 3/6.
