Well he has only one other LP, 'New Danger', which isn't nearly as good as 'Black on Both Sides'. It's decent though.

is the stuff he did with black star any good? I assume so cause he and talib are both pretty good, but just from what you've heard

Yea the Black Star CD is very good, and even though it's not a Mos Def CD, you should check out Reflection Eternal (Talib Kweli & Hi-Tek) as well, that CD is excellent.

He's done a ton of guest appearances on tracks and has really lit them up. Do a search and you'll come up with many. Here's a few of my favs :

I Against I (only Mos, different type song for him but the beat is sick, from Blade 2)

One-Nine-Nine-Nine (Mos & Common, I know it's on SOundbombing 2 but don't know if it's on anything else)

Two Words (Mos, Kanye & Freeway on College Dropout)

Double Trouble (Mos & The Roots on Things Fall Apart)

Rolling With Heat (Mos & The Roots on Phrenology)

the actuall album name is "train of thought". reflection eternal is the group name (kweli and tek).
this is my favorite album of all time. I like it slightly more than blood suger sex magik.

Right, I put Talib & Hi-Tek in parentheses in case OP didn't know what/who Reflection Eternal was.
