In the first hand, I'd bet the turn and probably call down a raise. Given that you didn't, I would definitely not fold to his river bet.

Second hand looks fine.

OK.

About the first hand. I did what you said. I just wrote a different action.

He didn't raise the turn though so I check-called the river. And lost as expected. I think I should have check-folded though.

TAG called a 3-bet preflop = mid to high PP or AX?
TAG calls the flop = PP or AX, now with higher certanty.
I just don't see what I beat.

If there wasn't a third player in the hand I wouldn't hesitate (much) on calling down. But since he was in I think I'm beat for sure.

OK I wasn't giving your opponent quite as much credit preflop as you are. If you believe his range is limited to Aces and mid to high pairs, I could find a fold if he raised. However, I would have bet the river after he calls the turn as most of the hands he could have that beat you would likely, though not necessarily, have made a move on you by then.

Take Texas out of the first line where it reads "Texas Holdem" and it will convert.
