VILLAIN checks.
HERO bets [145].
Stroker1967 folds.
VILLAIN calls [145].

Top pair Top kicker. Flush draw on board so I bet the pot not giving the odds to the draw.

** Dealing Turn ** [ 7c ]

Didn't hit the flush draw, but created a second flush draw. Discounted based upon earlier betting.

VILLAIN bets [175].

OK, now what is this? Did he hit his set? I would have bet the pot if I had. Unless he's putting me on AA.

HERO raises [450].
VILLAIN is all-In [420]
HERO: set? flush draw?
HERO: too late now.
HERO is all-In [75]
** Dealing River ** [ 6s ]
HERO shows [ Ah, Ks ] a pair of aces.
VILLAIN shows [ Qd, Qh ] three of a kind, queens.
VILLAIN wins 70 chips from side pot #1 with three of a kind, queens.
VILLAIN wins 1485 chips from the main pot with three of a kind, queens.
HERO finished in tenth place.

Where is my exit strategy? How would you have played my hand? How would you have played Villain's hand? My pot bet on the flop bet right into him. If you were him, would you have pushed from there?

You go broke on this hand...

I spite called you with j5s.

Sometimes you go broke with TPTK. I don't know what else to say, with 800 chips to start you don't have much room to manuever.

And this is of far more concern than going broke with TPTK

I've thought of this hand throughout the day. I don't think it was a bad call.

Matt had been playing tight and stealing with the same raises before. You moved all in. Wasn't the first time you came over Matt with an all in to fold him. My 9's to me were probably the best hand.

Up against a monster - KK - wasn't expected.

And, damn, I almost came back from that call until your spite call.

I'm not gonna lie, it was an awful call but you kept pushing my BB and I just busted out a big win streak and j5s has a special place in my heart.

I never would have called if I didn't suspect you were a 2+2'r like 2 hands later from your double push and then my suspicions were confirmed by your routine button pushing and bubble play.

If you keep calling with 99 in situations like that though man you are losing money in the long run.

Given only the information: EP raise followed by push, 99 doesn't sound like a good hand to call with.

Based upon prior activity at the table I still stand behind my call.
