HOH positional definition

I hope that this has not already been asked, but I have a questions about how positions are described in HOH. It may actually say this in the text but I cannot find it now.

Can I assume that early position means seats 1-3
Middle positions is 4-6
Late positions is 7-BB?

If not, please inform me otherwise.

At a 10-handed table, position would go as follows:
Late: Seats 9 & 10 (Cutoff and Button)
Middle: Seats 6, 7, 8
Early: Seats 3, 4, 5
Blinds: Seats 1 & 2

Harrington does his seating differently, assigning seat 1 to the person directly after the BB. Also he goes mostly by a 9 person table.

Now that I htink about it, he probably considers 6 late position as well since its one off the button

and arent the blinds considered early position since you are acting first the whole time except PF?
