I decide to bet out 175 into the ~700 pot. I figure there's a reasonable chance my hand is still good and don't feel like calling a much larger bet if I check...

Preflop - Limp, like you did

Flop - I like it.

Turn - FOLD PLEASE

An overcard hits and it puts 3 clubs on the board. I think the most likely calling hands to your flop bet are overcards and draws (and maybe a set).

While his bet doesn't signify a monster (nut flush), I find it hard to believe he would bluff here, and I think you are behind.

River - I hate this bet. I believe you are behind here, but not to a monster. That means, check-fold, or bluff. NOT value bet.

Good play on the flop, he probably didn't think his 10s were any good when that Ah hit a board like that. He was probably looking for the gut straight, but with such a weak river bet (175&gt;700pot), it was a very easy call for him to make.
