just finished D. Sklansky's book and wanted to test play so went to pokerroom .25/.50 room {loose with lots of maniacs} and consistantly won between 5-10 dollars/hour over a 5 day period and and 6 2 hour sessions. I'm new here so be kind and let me know if anyone has similar results, or some tweaks.

Welcome to the forum.

You're running good, don't expect to win 10-20 BB per hour even at that level. Get poker tracker, post some hands and good luck (varience).

Just an FYI, if you just finished Small Stakes Hold'em, Ed Miller was the author with some help from D.S.

When I started Poker Stars 0.50/1 my initial winrate was something like 20 BB/100 and I pulled in close to $200 over two days. I forgot how many hands that was. Maybe 1000? Felt great after I had to grind out the last $20 or so I needed at Paradise Poker 0.25/0.50. Anyways, now I'm at about 3200 hands and my winning has "stabilized" around 9 BB/100. I'm extremely happy with my results right now, but I do expect that to lower as I play the next couple thousand hands.

Although at 5k hands I might just decide to move up to 1/2.
