You made a post about losing 20 Big Bets?

I'm always so torn seeing these kind of posts. One side of me understands the need to go somewhere and vent it. The other side of me says, "That's it??"

I wish I had somewhere to vent my frustrations on my nights, too, honestly. Right now I'm bursting wanting to tell someone about the night I had... which really, wasn't so bad.

But I really wish I could vent it.

But no matter what my loss... no matter what my situation... somebody (maybe even me) has had it worse before.

But I know for a fact nobody on here wants to hear about it. This is the last place to get sympathy.

Not only has my @ss grown some serious callouses since I've begun posting hands here, my BR is growing.

Once you've read enough posts about the 300-600BB losses that occur, you'll thank your lucky stars you've only dropped 20.

Seriously... You haven't experienced variance until it kicks you in the teeth for a month at a time. I've been fortunate enough to see that. It certainly puts things in perspective.

This isn't meant to make light of your stress, Tallbrad. Just know it gets worse, much worse.

Which is the last thing you really want to hear, but once you experience it, you'll know, and look back at these posts and say 'Man.... I can't believe that upset me.'

id appreciate our mods to lock these threads as soon as they appear. if they don't, its going to encourage other posters to continue making these running bad threads. not trying to tilt my nose, since many posters (including myself) are guilty of starting one of these threads, but we should stop or at least make an effort to end this nonsense.

I'm very tempted to check-call-3-bet in this spot. Yes, you're chasing something that really looks like a pocket pair (AA), but three opponents is right for pot building this (with only two opponents, I hold back).

And don't complain about 20 BB slides. That's normal.
