I've been buying 50B and playing a half ed miller/half normal game but I'm not sure this is optimal, buying 100BB can leave you in tough spots with overpairs tptk as matt flynn points out.
I think 25-30 might be too little because you are paying so much in blinds when you finally picks up a hand you must profit for all that cost, does very short stack strategy can work in 6max?
(I'm not worried about playing in a way that wont improve my game, I'm been playing lately a la Tommy angelo 'im here for the money')
Does ed miller system works on short handed situations?
I appreciate any help

It works, but not as well. The way to maximize your returns is to learn how to play a deep stack well, buyin for the max on a table with some deep stacks and work your way up to playing deep stack poker. Once you're at 200bbs all is good in the hood.

Buy in the maximum possible stack unless you scared to lose. No limit poker is all about exploiting a huge stack.

50BB is a good amount to still make a nice profit yet minimize your risk of making a mistake on later streets.

You should always buyin for the max allowed at the table. If losing the max buyin is cause for concern then your playing too high.
