I've been on a horrible run of cards(since I cashed out the other day)... KK flopping an A last 3 times I saw a flop, QQ flopping an A or K last 5 times, no AA in 600+ hands. That's besides the point. I am getting beaten up a bit but I'm gonna go ahead and hope its just variance.

My question is, has the game tightened up? I hear people saying Party 400NL is the toughest game besides the 2K game. [sucks out with gutshot 3-handed for a nice pot]... post continues... Do you guys think the players in 600NL or 1000NL are easier and has the 400NL toughened up?

Sorry for the low content, thanks for the time.

yes i do, look around the table you see the same names everyday. tight/passive.. unimaginative players.. I found myself not winning much either in the past couple months at 400NL. there is so little action its not even funny. Recall when 400NL first opened up on party, it was not uncommon to see people sitting at the table with 2K dollar stacks.. try an build a stack like that now at 400NL. So whats the reason for it becoming such a tight game now? my theory is that when the game first opened up, not many good players moved up yet. however, the gamblers jumped right in. Over time..some of those gamblers went broke and more and more winning players from say 100 & 200NL moved up, so what are you left with? well.. not that great of a game.

now let me talk about 600NL and 1000NL. Game selection there is so limited, probably more than any other big name site. At any given time you might find one or two full ring tables running and usually these are not chumps. For someone who wishes to move up beyond 400NL.. partypoker isnt offering much. I would like to move up to 5/10 but like i said before.. look at your options, one table. So, of course i made the bad decision of trying out 2000NL since there are tons of tables to choose from. This decision, due in part to my dissatisfaction with the 400NL game and the sparse game selection at 600/1000. Long story short (yeah right), I lost more cash than i wanted to at 2000NL. So I'm taking a break right now, seriously considering what my next move is, and if I will change sites.

400nl 6max is still the softest risk/reward game around.

And it's not even close.

6 max is always a better game. Am i saying full ring 400NL is as hard as 2000NL, no. Am i saying its a rock garden? yes.

I have found the 400nl 6max to be as loose as ever. Of course I love loose games, so I find myself there often.

it is NOT a rock garden at all, but I'd guess my image is a little different than yours.
