What do you think it means to be aggresive in poker?

simply playing aggressive. if you can define aggressive in general, it can be applied in the same fashion in poker. if someone is aggressive, they enter the pot strong, strong raise, strong reraise, attack all the way. And they are super aggressive if they can do that with any cards from any position.

To me aggressive play does not mean being constanly strong in everything you do. For me aggressive playing means constantly putting pressure on your opponent to make tough decisions, whether you are folding,checking, betting or raising.

how is it that you put pressure on your opponent by folding or checking

I don't look at a hand individually, its the overall impression over a number hands. By checking and folding you can add doubt to an opponent in his plays, shows how you are dececeptive, and makes your opponents hesitant. This makes his plays more difficult for him to make
