Thats 1250BBs, and that's a ton. Assuming he runs 1BB/100 (how soft is the competition?) he'd have to play 125,000 hands to win that much. Wowza.

Well.... they do play PLO and NLHE sometimes. Obviously 12mil sounds like a lot though, who really knows though.

At the highest stakes they pay a small timecharge, under $25.

Got this from google, the link was broken, but it looks like they pay either $10 an hour or $10 every half hour (probably every half): Poker Forum Search... This is probably the one poker game where the house is not in fact the biggest winner. (At least in terms of timecharge the house makes for that particular game).

That is a great article. Do you really think that Hellmuth, Lederer, Negreneau, and Chan couldn't hold their own in the top game?

I thought chan did play in this game? Also doesn't this game comprise of those sharks eating up rich folks who don't mind losing 100g's in order to tell their buddies at the country club that they sat with the best in the world?

negreanu said in an interview that he is up over $1 million in that game. in other words, he hasn't proven anything.

the time charge is $10 per half hour. By comparison the 30/60 time charge is $6 per half /images/graemlins/tongue.gif.

$10 per half hour per player = $160-$200/hour.

But there must be some serious security on that game that the house has to cover. I wouldn't think the house does so well.
