defending blinds in 6max games

I'm trying to give the low limit 6 player limit games a shot. How should I adjust from a 10 player limit game in terms of defending my blinds? I know I know it all depends on the player, but say I sit down at a .50/1 party 6max game, folds to the button who raises, do I call with
K8? J7? various other mediocre hands? Thanks!
