Been running bad, perhaps tilting a bit the last week.
First hand:

3/6 average game, no real reads other than SB who seems TAG ish.
JJ in the BB, MP calls, SB raises, I 3 bet, called around.

Flop comes TQK rag
SB checks, anyone bet here given the pflop action?

I bet, and think I should have checked.

MP calls, CO raises, SB 3 bets.

Is this a clear fold?

Second hand. CO just sat down, is unknown.
AA in the BB.
CO limps SB folds, I raise CO calls

Flop: Q95.

I bet, CO calls

Turn: 2

I bet, CO raises.

Call and chk-call to showdown?
3 bet and fold to a cap?
I personally like the latter...

<font color="brown"> I don't think you can fold here - with the open ender. I'd probably check with outs on this flop, and bet without outs - in this case folding to a CR. </font>

3-Bet - do not fold to a cap though, if you don't know the player. You could hit hit two pair and catch back up, not to mention you could still be ahead.

Hand 1 is an easy fold. Well played.

Hand 2 I usu 3 bet the turn.

edit: woops, missed the draw. I don't like checking after 3-betting this flop, but I guess its feasible.

At the time (for hand 1) I kept thinking pot is big, I'm behind, but can improve, but might split. My J outs are filthy, my opponents probably have at least 1 if not more of my A or T outs. If I call here, I pretty much have to call down because the pot will be so damn big.

Results, if they matter:
I called. Turn was a blank.
SB bet out, it got called around. River paired the T.
I know I'm dead, but can't bring myself to fold it cause the pot is huge..

MP had 9T, CO had KQos, SB had AJ for the flopped nut str8.

Hand 2 I called the raise and called down to be shown Q9s.
I looked at that flop and couldn't bring myself to believe that someone would limp in with Q9, suited or not..I thought a set, maybe, but Q9?

Hand 1 - I say bet out the flop. I think it's a pretty marginal decision because you're not going to fold out a better hand or increase your odds of winning whether you c/c, or b/c. I like a bet to build the pot because you'll get some serious action if you make your straight on the turn or river.

When it's 3 back to you this is a clear call. Even if you discount your 8 straight outs to, say 6, because of the possibility of a chop, you're getting somewhere around 10-1 pot odds on this call which is more than enough.

Hand 2: Calling and c/c the river is so weak tight it makes me want to slap myself. 3-bet... maybe fold to the cap. I don't think you're going to get capped most of the time but (depending on the read) the smallish pot size would probably merit a fold.

I may have counted wrong, but on hand one it looks like its 18 bets and two to you, giving you 9 to 1. It looks like a call. You may be drawing thin if sb has AJ, but sb may have kqo, k10, q10. I think I'm seeing another card though. And you definitely should bet there, and not check.

On hand two I three bet the turn. If its capped I check call. If its called and the river isn't a disastrous card, I lead.

this happens to me too, but with the sb being a tag, if i don't hit the turn, and he leads again, I am gone.

T-AG = Tight AGgressive player (someone who plays selectively but with vigor)

It is what we all aspire to be.
