Anyone going to theNew England Poker Classic 4-2 thru 4-13??

I plan on taking a vacation the first week of April. During that week I will drive up to the Foxwoods casino resort to play poker for a few days. The Foxwoods runs their annual New England Poker Classic tournament from the 2-13th.

I plan on staying at the Foxwoods from 4-1 through 4-5. The Satellites and Super Satellites begin on the 1st. As of right now I will go solo.

Hopefully I can meet up with some fellow Two Plus Two posters. Mikey and Dynasty might be there March 29th. Buckshot, if you go e mail me so we can meet up and....

I have heard the side games in this game get very good. If and when I bust out of the tournament, I will play in the ring games. I want to play in the spread limit stud hi low 2-10 game with a half kill to 3-15. I need to read the chapter in my book about how to play that limit.

I'm sure I'll be there at least a few days during your stay. I doubt I'll be playing in any tournaments, the side games will likely be too good to pass up.

Send me a message a day or two before you come and we'll work out some kind of plan to meet up. Same goes for Mikey, Dynasty, Buckshot and any other 2+2ers. Maybe we can all get together for dinner.

By the way, the 2-10 stud 8 game goes around the clock. As far as I know though, it's not played with a half kill. I wouldn't be surprised if there is some other variety of low limit stud 8 during that week.

The waiting lists at times are quite long but FW usually has plenty of dealers and games going on so up to 1 hour tops.

Hrm, I'm not sure where you're getting your 1 hour tops number, but at last years NEPC, on weekends the wait was as long as 3-4 hours for the mid-limit hold em games.

My experience was from last fall at the World Poker Finals during weekdays. I don't doubt that the weekends are a much longer wait!
