In answer to your question, of course its stupid, all pit games all. They're designed to be entertaingly stupid so that people looking to be entertained will take the worst of it to do so.

I think it's pretty clever. People would probably win enough to stay in the game, but the casino still has the edge whatever you do.

I would prefer it to playing most of the other casino games, black jack is probably more +ev if you count cards though.

I saw it the other weekend. My guess is that correct strategy is so well masked that the game holds too much. People did seem to be having fun though.

Yup. You basically need to go "all in" on a gigantic percentage of hands, most of them with 10x odds (if I remember correctly the game/strategy).

It seems completely impossible at first, but correct strategy is like a 2.3% house edge? I think its somewhere on wizard of odds.
