All-in because M < 5?

Nice. I like to go for the cheap long bomb with the $2 and $1 NLMTTs about once a week or so. Have not monied yet in one -- though I keep coming really close.

Since I'm not playing poker here with my inlaws' dialup (yet, I might set up my laptop if I start craving poker too much) I'm living vicariously through you. How sad is that?

Don't give up hope to either move up a few money spots or make a serious move up the money ladder at 8x. Play smart. And draw good cards!

EDI: Okay this dialup is driving me nuts. I see yt out in 23rd. Sorry...

M is what? (i assume a HoH reference?)

but if it's my BB multiple, then yes. and villian was the chip leader and had been in many pots with nothing, clearing out the short stacks (like me)...

oh well.

the blinds were brutal, and i got a free flop and hit top pair...can't refuse that

Good job dude!

That final hand was perfect. That ~9000 in the pot is EASILY worth moving all in for. Well done.

Yeah, this is definitely the right play, but something I wouldn't have considered before reading HOH2. Inflection points, red zone, etc, etc... /images/graemlins/smile.gif

Nice job, man. 27th out of 702 is a finish to be happy with.

payout wasn't outrageous...$85 (20+2 buyin)

at seat 18 payout jumped to 7.5x buyin
final 9 got much of it...
i haven't really figured out the optimal payout structure but i assume this is stars' standard.

top 3 were:
3.5k
2k
1.2k...

yeah the payout kinda sucks till the final table, and gets really good around 5th

still a lot of fun

Hey, tilt, good job! I'm sorry I wasn't around to sweat you -- I was at the grocery store!

Great finish, bro.
