I was gambling and played this poorly. No, I didn’t lose to a flush, but would any of you mind reviewing this hand and confirming my interpretation of my mistakes?

1. Fold this PF (lol, just kidding).
2. Should have open raised more like 300-400
3. Push the flop (or at least bet the pot).
4. Possibly fold to the all-in?

no donkey minraises. L4 at a very equal standing table. letting suspect hands in 'cheap' is going to get you in trouble more time than not. 3-5x PF here.

edit: i guess 5x is a bit absurd, given that represents more than a 1/3 of your stack. 3.5x sounds about right.

Might have raised more preflop, 300 sounds pretty good and will make postflop decisions easier. The minraise isnt a bad idea IF you have a read that one of the blinds will probably resteal, then you can trap them into doubling you up/taking them out of the tourney.

Might have even pushed preflop, sure you have over 10x the bb, but depending on the buyin, you might get called by a dominated hand like AQ or AJ.

In any case, you've gotten yourself into this flop, and its a doozy. I'd probably bet 350-450, and call a push. Supposing he calls, and the turn is A /images/graemlins/heart.gif (the trickiest card in the deck) push and hope he has a lower two pair or something worse... And worse case scenario, you've got 4 outs...

I sometimes puah this, along with AQ and maybe AJ preflop.

If not pushing I like raising 250. I think people are more likely to autodefend for 100.

Folding the flop would be awful. I suppose I'd just push preflop, though I see t250 could be ok here.

pushing preflop would be a LOT more acceptable instead of motherfucking minraising. a 3xBB raise preflop would be good because you do want some action with AKs. however, a push would be fine too if it's even a little likely to be called.
