View Full Version : How hard is it to be a liberal?

You would think that being a liberal would be so hard, having to create facts, think long hours about bogus theories, and on top of that being angry all the time. Liberals are always angry and stressed, that explains why most of the older people we have left are republicans, they suvived the stress and heart attacks. Or does all this come natural to them, and it just looks hard?

of the states that recieve more federal tax dollars then they pay, 76% are red states. of the states that recieve less, 70% are blue. the top 10 divorce rate states are conservative, massachusetts, home of the attempted gay marriage, has the lowest divorce rate. ya'll som freeloading hypocritical fools. and i saw your post on the conservatives behind the times thread, and your last paragraph made it sound like you didn't even understand what the poster was saying. you suck at life.

See look at these made up facts, I mean that must take some serious studying there, to use bogus facts and then try to make a stand on a situation. I mean his "facts" dont even relate to my question/statement, I guess it is just natural.

I'll continue to be a liberal as long as there are pretentious statements like this being made. It's easy because the ignorance infesting the conservative is so offensive.

I consider myself a conservative but am strongly against the current trend of some right wing Christian conservatives' efforts to bring religion into secular government institutions. Why do some (not all) outspoken Liberals AND Conservatives enjoy generalizing and stereotyping so much? I see it as an obvious sign that they're full of crap.

I find myself more and more sickened by the back and forth jabs by both sides. Liberals and Conservatives are guilty of the same crime of name calling and mudslinging. All that they're accomplishing now is to see who can be the biggest hypocrite.

This topic was only created for my amusement, not to make any kind of statement, still haven't received an answer from most people yet, just getting liberal tangents.

That's it slaves. Divide yourselves up into two opposing groups and pretend like anything you say or do matters. Whatever keeps you busy I guess.

Just to help you out "care's" is not a word or even a contraction that would be "care is" doesn't make sence

I had no idea that was the American way. Does it always have to be specifically two groups, and do we always have to pretend like our opinions matter?

Man, ya learn something new every day. Thanks for spelling that out for me, chief.

I'm not a liberal. Although it's still fun to be called one when it's being based on pretty much nothing except a person's inability to come up with any real substance.

In fact, I'm actually quite conservative, but not a Republican.
I have a strong dislike of both major parties.

So, when liberals and conservatives generalize, you usually take it to mean that they're generally full of crap.

No inherent contradiction/hypocrisy there.

C'mon, when FishHooks claims liberals resort to:

[ QUOTE ]
having to create facts, think long hours about bogus theories

[/ QUOTE ]

you can't help but be reminded of the Christian right's war on knowledge - "creating facts" and thinking for "long hours about bogus theories" describes the anti-evolution movement to a T.

It's good that you disavow yourself of such a movement; but let's not pretend it doesn't exist. And because conservative politicians align themselves (whether through true belief or political expediency) with the movement, and take up fighting for the anti-evolution cause - those conservatives who aren't quite so ignorant are going to suffer by association. It's the price you pay for having some of your elected representatives fight for such lunacy.

Evolution is a complex issue and offtopic, not all scientists even believe in it, and there are many way to interpit the bible, this is a whole differen't topic that doesn't need to be braught up randomly. Another liberal tanget wooo hoo

It's easy to be a liberal the positions held by those you classify as 'liberals' are by and large correct.

The "scietists" that are in the classroom and teach kids mostly all believe in it, but the ones out of the classroom are split. Just like global warming, most dont even believe in it.

They are confusing evolution with natural selection which is proven, but christians believe that man was first and does have natural selection like peoples skin color, blacks, whites, etc we know natural selection is a fact. We dont believe that it was natural selection that created man, we believe that man was created by God not from natural selection.

And what, in your mind, is that split %? 50/50, 30/70? You might as well preach scientology.

Does DNA exist for you?
