Hello,
Im looking for a good place to sign up for a virtual trading account. I would like to find a free one but dont mind paying some small ammount if I can find a good one.
I want to be able to sell short, do trailing stops, limit orders and all that good stuff.
Let me know if you have any suggestions!
Thanks!

See the 2+2 Stock Trading Competition thread.
Dan setup a virtual competition that some of the members here are participating in, that uses the VSE on marketwatch.com.

I didn't think MarketWatch allowed advanced trades and orders. Can you sell short on MW...and do trailing stops?
I didnt see any mention of it on their website but maybe I missed it! Guess I will sign up and see but let me know if anyone has any other recommendations.
Thanks again!

www.marketocracy.com (http://www.marketocracy.com) lets you do short and limit orders.

Yes it does but as far as I can tell you have to have a seperate fund for each...one for long positions and one for short positions.
Is there anything available thats just like a regular brokerage account?
Thanks!

Marketocracy is setup to simulate the management of a mutual fund.
Most futures brokers offer play money accounts.
You can do a quick google search and find a few more stock simulators, but the most used have already been mentioned.
