This guy is as LPP as it gets. He hasn't bet since I sat down at the table. Makes me think I'm beat here, I can't imagine what's beating me, so I want to raise.

His bet feels like a weak A, and I'm fairly sure he won't 3bet me if he doesn't have the nut flush. Is it OK to raise?

Note: I don't know how he'd play a flush here.

... um.... call....

This is weird. Folding sucks here. I doubt you'll be ahead 55% of the time you raise and are called. You're not likely to get reraised, but villain is passive and might not lead here all that often. This will be something weird/weak by villain often enough to call, but I can't find a raise here.

I'd raise it. Loose passive isn't raising a 7 very often from MP, so you can disocunt the straight. Your thinking makes sense that he most likely has an A that he was going to call down, but decided to bet the river when a scare card came because he doesn't think a higher A will raise (though I'm sure I'm giving him too much credit. I'd raise and be willing to fold to a 3-bet from this type of player.

lots of the weak As are 2 pairs or str8s.

I think you are beat here >50% of the time, just call it.

I dont see any point in raising. When a giant LPP donks a river like this, its cuz he has the straight, the flush, or total crap.

When I played this hand I was talking to my friend and didn't even notice the 4 straight. I'm probably good around 20% of the time here in retrospect so its probably a good call but a bad raise.
