pretty harmless looking flop. you probably could have flatcalled and hoped he'd bet the turn again.

chances are that was all you were getting, but you should at least give him the chance to bet at you. there's no turn card i'm worried about here.

You played it perfectly, and I really don't think its close.
There's an ace on the flop.
If he has one, he's not getting away.
If he doesn't hve one, you're not making anymore money unless he catches a hand that beats you.
Besides, you have to play sets like this occasionally if you're going to be C/Ring all-in with your draws.

EDIT: how the f*ck did mlagoo get "content rich poster" under his nick. GIMME SOME OF THAT!!!!!

ANOTHER EDIT: this all makes perfect sense f the board is two flush... tralalalala i need a nap

i know. i'm unworthy. and the real jip is, i got it by giving lip to a moderator (thetimeisup), not even by being a good guy =/.

you don't give the guy the opportunity to bet on the turn here? maybe he makes second pair or something and thinks its good.

i mean, chances are hero isnt going to get paid off here, but you may as well give the guy a chance to improve.

This might have been my favorite flop of the day. No flush draws, extremely doubtful there are any straight draws, hit my set, and had the lone Ace to pull some chips in.

Sometimes your opponents just don't make a hand. It's just another form of bad luck (or maybe, lack of good luck) in poker. Nothing you can do.
