I'm going to be going up to Tahoe to ski next weekend and I'll be staying near the CA/NV border on the north shore of tahoe. Since we are skiing (i.e. getting up early), driving an hour+ down to south shore and back is not really attractive. Does anyone know any places that spread games near the north CA/NV border?
Last time I was up there, I went to the Cal-Neva which had a poker rooms, but both nights I was there, they spread only 1 game, which was 7 card stud early in the evening (I am not vey comfortable plaihng stud), and switched over to spread-limit hold 'em at about 10:30. One night there was the worlds biggest, drunkest, friendliest fish there and I took hom for $200+. However, I'm not sure I will walk into that situation again, and the other players there seemed solid.
Any other places people know about?
