I just finished my first 10K hands of 1/2 6max, and my vpip is 21.7, which I understand is a little low. I think my other stats are in line (15% pfr, 33% vol. put in SB).

My vol. put in from BB is 16.25%, 14.5% from UTG, and 22.4% from the Button.

I see people with total vpip's around the 25-27 mark even at 5/10 6max, so I'm wondering what hands you guys are playing that I'm not. I think I might be a little too tight from the blinds, but not sure that this alone could account for the 3% difference. Any typical spots where I should look to loosen up?

Thanks,
-C.

I beat 1/2 6-max for 4BB/100+ over 40k hands with 20/15 stats. Adding marginal hands will generally cost you money at lower limits because the rake is higher, which makes each hand costlier to play.

I dont know too much about 1-2 but mine is about 40 so u could be stealing a bit more which will add some vpip.
Also i find i defend my bb about 50% so theres something that might help u.

Theres a few good posts around about play in the blinds!
Hope this helps.
