As an offshoot of the "telling stastic" thread, can someone tell me how poker in cardrooms is doing?
Yes, I know there are more places to play poker than 20 or even 10 years ago. but how about in the last three? I keep hearing that casinos don't like poker rooms, that they don't make enough money for the space they take up.
I was also told recently that many atlantic city casinos are removing/reducing their poker rooms. I don't know if this is true but I found it alarming.
So, for those of you who know, how is live poker doing? (I'm specifically excluding online poker from this).
