3/6

Folded to the button who raises.

I've never played with him before but my guess is he's a TAG:
* His name is Tag-like
* He folded 5 out of the last 6 hands
* When he did decide to play, he raised.

I'm in the SB w/ KQ and I three-bet, BB and button call.
BB is loose passive.

A47 rainbow.

I bet, the BB folds, and the button calls.

A478 rainbow.

I check/fold the turn. Am I giving up too early?

I bet this 95% of the time.

With the 1/3 blind, I would be willing to fold KQ against all but the most aggressive blind stealers (i.e. Any two).

As for your question I don't think it is weak at all to check fold the turn, actually I think betting is pretty much spewing.

I would 3bet KQ against all but the tightest rocks. KQ dominates a lot of hands, that are openraising from the button.

Folding KQ from the SB to a raise from a steal position is way to weak IMHO.

You did fine until the turn.

Folding KQ against a button openraise from an unknown is not an option.

What's your plan for the turn? Bet again with the intention to put no more money in the pot unless you improve?

With a 1/2 blind structure yes, but with a 1/3 blind structure you should really tighten up in the SB. When ever you 3 bet you are basically getting even money (13:12) after 3 betting preflop and the required flop bet. Doing a pokerstove calculation you're a 47/53 dog against a ASB of ~30% which from my limited experience is on the high side of attempted steals at 3/6 or lower. Another aspect is postflop play, you will be out of position for the rest of the hand which will be especially bad if the BB comes along as well. Looking over the math I stand by my statement that against all but the most aggressive blind stealers and preferably poor postflop players I would fold KQo with the 1/3 blind structure.

Folding KQo preflop would be silly. Check/folding the turn is good.

Easy check/fold on the turn
