Hey guys,
I am about to open up an account on pokerstars.com and I wondered if the micro games there were soft enough to turn a profit.

Thanks in advance,

They are, but not as soft as the micro games on Pacific and Sportingbet.

It's almost impossible to turn a profit there. STAYAWAY!!

I think pokerstars is the worst site to start for a beginning player.

I disagree. I started my poker life there, and it was very good for me because I was playing the micro limits against "better" players. This helped me develop quicker than I would against worse players.

I used to play mostly on stars (some microlimit, some SNGs) and i would say that stars (and more specifically their microlimit games) are tougher than the majority of sites out there. Might want to start out on Party or Pacific instead.
