shortstacked HU, blinds 100/200, chipleader has played a good game. he knows i've probably played a better game due to coming back from a shortstack earlier with about 8 players after losing a tough beat on the river.

villian [9492 after 100 SB] mini-raises 300 to 400 ??? hmmmm
Hero [3708 after 200 BB] 4 /images/graemlins/heart.gif2 /images/graemlins/club.gif calls 200

flop comes 3 /images/graemlins/diamond.gifA /images/graemlins/diamond.gif4 /images/graemlins/spade.gif pot [800]

villian bets half the pot 400.
i caught middle pair [ /images/graemlins/grin.gif] with a straight draw [uh oh!] sensing weakness, i immediately raised 608 more to 1008.
my thinking was if hero had an Ace, he would bet harder to force me into playing a flush or straight draw [probably the least likely because villian probably doubts i'd call with a preflop raise with a low hand]. also, i felt that if villian had a flush draw, he would've bet harder at the flop.

villian reraises 8184 to 9192 all-in [crud!]
Hero calls 2500 and is all-in.

villian shows K /images/graemlins/diamond.gifJ /images/graemlins/diamond.gif [ok, so he did have the flush draw].

(What buyin is this?)
Just push the flop. What's with the fancy play?
