What articles of clothing are acceptable to wear for at least two days in a row? Is there anything can be worn for more than that?

really depends on how much smell/sweat is involved.

if you are sitting in your chair playing internet poker all day in the A/C, i'd say you could go 2-3 days easy.

Dude, when I was in college I would make a pair of jeans stretch a week. Now its 3 days.

jeans are different, i was speaking of shirts

as long as you don't get anything on the jeans, or as long as you don't have a case of stankass, jeans are good to go...

If it's dry, it's clean.

Obviously underwear can go longer, depending on how much you leak. If you're seeing the same people on consecutive days, you've got to change shirts, however.

Jeans are always OK. As for shirts, as long as they stay relatively clean and dry, I don't wash them everytime I wear them, but I won't wear them on consecutive days. It looks more obvious that you're not changing if you wear a shirt back-to-back days, but not as noticeable with jeans.

Khaki shorts are usually ok for a few days.

T-shirts can go for a few days if you haven't been outside of the house; I don't like people to see me with the same shirt 2 days in a row. I've worn the same pair of pants for a month before. Sometimes socks are good for more than one day, though not usually. Sweaters and button down shirts have a pretty good lifespan.

Also, shoes.

sweatshirts and athletic jerseys, providing an undershirt is there

Overshirts are good for 3 wears, pants go for weeks, and if you're not active on a given day, undershirts and socks can get a second day. Never wear the same thing on consecutive days, though, that's just bad fashion sense.
