Has anyone here ever actually been cow tipping?

I want a trip report, if so. Having lived mostly in a Boston suburb and a college town, I've never been involved in tipping over a cow.

What I think is more interesting is that you grew up in Boston and came to Ithaca and I grew up in Ithaca and came to Boston.

The really odd part is that cow tipping was not planned. We just happened to end up in a cow pasture drunk and naked.

So.... I work at a local garden shop.... uhh... we had to prune the hedges at a nearby business... you know... big resort hotel type, a bunch of slot machines. never been in there, though -- damn degenerate gamblers.

i've done it, it's not that much fun, plus the cows can get hurt pretty badly actually.

I tried when I was in college in Harrisonburg VA after drinking all night. Let me say it didnt go as planned. When we got out there at about 3AM, the cows were not sleeping at all. We got out in the pasture and they were onto it from the start. The cows all lined up in a straight line across the pasture and then started to run towards us. Needless to say we booked it up and over the fence and never tried again. I think its a myth. If they can lay down in the grass why wouldnt they sleep like that?

Three of us shoved at once. The cow kinda scrambled up and trotted off. It wasn't really anything special except that we were drunk and naked doing it.

A lot of the time they actually do sleep lying down.
