UTG can get pretty out of line, haven't seen noticable plays from the button.

How would you play it?

Looks fine to me, I don't see how you could play it any other way.

Sorry dude. 4-5-6-7 on board with 2 other players that called 3 bets on turn? I check call that river. The rest looks fine.

What are you putting them on to checkcall the river?

I don't think button 3bets preflop w A7, A6, A4. At the turn I'm thinking AT-AA. If the river didn't put 4 to a straight on the board, I think I'd reraise. The river opens up too many other possibilities (A8? 88?), so I'd play it the same.

forget AA, he would cap.

Well, that of course is the perfect question. A read would obviously help, but here goes.

He 3-bet pre-flop to isolate, and then raised the turn A and the river. With those plays in a short-handed game, the following hands that beat you could be in play, IMO:

88
77
66
55
44
33
A8s
A7s
A6s
A5s
A4s
A3s

If Button thinks UTG is a donk or overly aggressive (lotta that in short-handed games), then raising those Ax suited hands to isolate isn't out of the question, and the pocket pairs certainly aren't.

With that board, 2 players vs. you, and the action up to now, do you really think this is a good spot to bet for value with TPTK?

I play it the same every time. If you get three bet on the turn I'm cursing myself for raising in the first place, but almost all raising hands you are ahead of unless he tripped up. The river just close your eyes and hope it is a last minute bluff to try and steal the pot and not 88

Actually, on second thought, 33 and 88 seem less likely, especially with the turn raise on the A, but there's still a lot of hands left.

overplayed pocket 5s with a bluff at the ace scare card? flops the open ended straight draw then hits his set on the river.

Wouldn't 77, 66 and 44 raise the flop?
And aren't A9-AK a good possibility as well after he calls the 3bet on the turn?
