First hand, I probably shouldn't have played AJ. Seems stronger than KT, though.

Second had to me is an obvious bad beat.

Would you have played these any different?

sigh

both of these are standard. some will say you should have just open-pushed the AJ. i could go either way.

the second one is just a stupid question. of course you push with QQ there. are you going to lay it down because you feel like TT might make a set against you?

The first one is fine. AJ is a very strong hand against an opponent who is short-stacked and desperate. You got your money in with the best hand.

The second one is clearly just a bad beat whine. It happens. What do you expect someone to say? Fold QQ preflop?

As these were back to back hands, its clear to me that Villian was putting you on a pure steamin' steal after him out drawing you.

I think his call of your all-in was fine.

Bad beats? 4.5% to 95.5% yah, but the KT play? He probably had it in his mind to push as soon as he got his cards regardless of the action prior to him, being short stacked.

Of course they were bad beats. Come on.. and yes, I play them both the same, maybe raise to 250 on the first hand, but it's by the by.

First hand: looking at the stacks of the other players, and considering the blind size, your $300 bet is over 50% of Villian's stack. Villian is going to push on one of the next few hands, so you have to consider that he just might here. With an AJs I'd be ok with that, especially seeing how the SB didn't make it a multi-way pot.

QQ vs TT? Take that everytime -- you won't win everytime, but take it.

This was my thought also. He just spanked me so I'm on tilt. Second shouldn't have even been posted had it not been immediately afterwards.

I was concerned about my AJ play, but with his short stack, he was going to have to make a move sooner or later.

Thanks all.

AJs is a big hand five-handed. Either raising or pushing was the right move here, and you've got a bit too big of a stack for me to want to push here. Your action was fine.
