I have $330 in gift certificates to amazon.com from various casino whoring activities. I don't need anything in particular, so I'm looking to OOT to help me spend it. Suggestions?

Ladybugs of course (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B0001KWFGG/qid=1122352194/sr=8-2/ref=pd_bbs_sbs_2/002-7191369-0054465?v=glance&s=kitchen&n=507846)
But seriously, if I had $330 in Amazon certificates the first thing I would buy is a nice dart board for starters. Next, a season of your favorite TV show...I suggest Seinfeld Season 4. American Roulette and Bringing Down the House for interesting poker/casino type books. Mitch Hedberg CDs, the 2 of them that exist. A couple nice posters or pictures for your apartment/house...I have a nice Vegas one up in my apartment. A wireless keyboard and mouse...if you don't have one. Some disc golf discs. A backgammon set. Listerine pocket packs.

You need to hurry though, there's only one left in stock.

Assume I have nothing but what one needs to survive. I rarely buy anything. Thanks for the suggestions.

I second this recommendation.
I'd also like to add Firefly - The Complete Series DVD (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B0000AQS0F/qid=1122353272/sr=8-1/ref=pd_bbs_sbs_1/102-4320985-6580154?v=glance&s=dvd&n=507846) to the list. Didn't see this show until a couple weeks ago, and now I'm a big fan. There is a movie coming out in Sept, maybe that will get the series back on the air (Fox killed it prematurely).

If I had a house, or a porch for that matter, I'd be all over that bad boy. I definitely enjoy my business hammock.

If you really want to spend it Homer, I would suggest some dvds or something in the electronics.
Or you could donate it to some local children's charity. /images/graemlins/laugh.gif

besides play poker, what do you like to do?
depending on your interests there's a ton of stuff you could get.
good knives, glasses, barware, books (not about poker), cds, dvds, personal electronics (mp3, psp, nintendo ds), sunglasses, sportswear, i dunno, what do you like to do?
if you don't have a TV, you should er, get more whoring money, then get one.

So far I have a sweet looking Backgammon set (need a book to go with that since I've never played, any suggestions?), that Firefly DVD and season 5 of South Park. Keep the suggestions coming, because I'm bored.

Nice. The Robertie books (guy who co-authored HOH) are supposed to be really good.

you really have 3 options, in order:
books
gifts for others (would be nice when christmas rolls around)
dvds
i think a mix of 1 and 2 is best

It's Wusthof and it and Henckels are not good. Cutco is far and away the best high quality cutlery on the market.

I read it, and while helpful, only presents an overview of the rules and endgame strategy. I want more, so I went with one of the Robertie books.
