It seems to be generally accepted strategy in this forum to play tight in the early levels of a sit 'n go. But is there a particular level that people begin to widen the range of hands they raise with? Is it a ratio of YOUR chip stack to blind sizes? Or do you pick on the smallish medium stack at certain levels?

Although I suspect that most people try to pick on the tight player. I can only imagine that people who are multitabling have to use some sort of other reference unless they can keep track of 39 players at once.

When do you open up your game?

Depends.

I'd say, though, 3rd and 4th levels are where you want to start loosening up somewhat. Obviously if its already become fairly shorthanded you need to be playing more hands.

Depends what level your at, but as a general rule your trying to pick off players that have a similar stack to your own or a little less, and there isnt any reason for them to play their blind to a raise.

only once you've gotten out of the kiddie pool.
