don't remember reads on villain. my standard here is to just keep firing when i have a hand and hope that Tx wants to go to the felt. but i thought that lot of hands like 77/T9 might fold if i bet again, but would pay off one more bet on the river.

i thought this would be a good time to take this line as villain probably has no more than 5 outs (AT), and more likely 2 outs (Tx, pocket pair).

thoughts?

I like this (yay NL), specifically because the board is paired so if JT or T9 makes two pair on the river you still have the best hand.

The question is, you call a push if A hits the river? What about if the BB checks to you?

I like this line. Looks like you have AK/AQ. I would suspect that villain would bet a lot of hands on the river, or call a lot of the time if he checks to you given this line.

What do you do if an A/T comes on the river when he:

a) checks, b) pushes, c) makes a weak lead (like 150 or so)?

If I took line Hero did, I would value bet hero's check unless an A or T came...which I would check behind...if he has somthing ridiculous like TT im going broke and I dont even care.

a) check happily
b) fold quickly
c) i'd call a medium/small bet on an A and call only a v. small bet on a T

That's the only reason I don't like checking the turn. But honestly, if an A or T hits and he doesn't bet we almost certainly still have the best hand. Who goes for a river checkraise after the turn checks through? That is very very very very rare.

The problem is that once the A hits he might think we were continuation betting with AK and when the A hits we just made our hand and he will fold a hand like JT a lot of the time. So we lose value when an A hits and he doesn't have one.

yeah, maybe bet-fold on the end is better. i think betting is more right when a T hits than an A, cause there are a lot more hands ready to pay off on a T.

You're short enough that you have to call here. I think you're going to get shown a 3 (I guess A3 is the only realistic thing that he's calling PF with, but he is in the BB and could be surprising) or something silly like 22 quite often here, but probably not 80% of the time.

That is the most obvious bluff river check raise I have ever seen, fwiw.

Edit: I'm calling it with T9o, too.
