and I was a little disappointed. I only had $100 on me (of which I couldn'trteally spend it) and the lowest limit they had was $4-$8. But then it got worse, everybody at the table I was watching were calling machines. Not only that but loose calling machines. It was similar to .25 - .50 online. It was ridiculous. People were playing J high 86o and there was practically no preflop aggression. Is it like this everywhere or was it just my luck. Can't wait to get some money so I can clean up. What would you recommend I should take as a buy in?

Cheers

Liam

For $4-$8 I'd take around $250, that gives you enough to play around a bit and its unlikely you'll go broke. If the games particularly fishy and you find you can play a few marginal hands, probably more like $300.

Thanks

No sitting down was a good move...unless you gambled the $100 on another casino game.
Then you should have played pokah.

With at least 25 more in my pocket, sometimes 50.

The first time I ever went to play poker in a casino (before I reged here), I brought $100. They only had 5/10. Oops!
