MTT yesterday.
Get dealt red KK in MP1 (I have stack of 30xBB. UTG+1 limps (stack 15xBB), I raise to 4xBB, button flat calls (40x BB stack), blinds fold, UTG+1 calls. Excellent, obviously now plan to push any non A flop.
Flop comes A 7 2 rainbow.
UTG+1 checks, whats your move? Do you assume with 2 pre-flop callers that one of them will have an ace so no more money into the pot? Do you bet 1/2-3/4 of the pot to see where you are at obviously planning to fold to a reraise? If button calls and UTG+1 folds do you check the turn and give up the hand there?
I guess my issue is that my bet looks like a continuation bet and if I check the turn any hand can steal it from me, including lower pocket pairs, but I can't really afford to bet the turn without being pretty much pot committed, guess check folding the turn just felt weak.
Any advise?
