On level 5 of a $30+3 STT at Party (blinds 75/150) I had 600 chips on the button. Four players left, UG1 raises to 300 (leaving him with 1400). I folded K6 hoping for a better steal opportunity, or preferably a better hand.

I went on to blind out with garbage and have been wondering if I should have reraised him. I didn't know much about him except that he did at least an average amount of blind stealing and would probably know about the effectiveness of a small raise from UG1.

Would you have folded?

Folding here seems good.

Folding's your only move. If you don't find another opportunity to move in then you pick a couple of cards you think are live and hit it...but K6 is not a re-raising hand. More often than not, a better opportunity will arise.

If it was folded around to you, you would push, however since there is a raise infront of you someone has already shown they have a good hand and most likely have your K6 beat. You have 0 FE pushing here, he already has invested half your stacksize and isnt going to fold for another 300.
