CO obviously wakes up with something. very very hard to not 3bet the river. blood was running pretty hot. this was the most wild 2/4 hand i've ever experienced. what's the biggest pot you've seen?

It looks a lot like JT, I'll tell you that much. There is a lot of padding on the river 3-bet but I don't like it given CO's passive play and then waking up on card like this one. He's gotta know at least two-pair is out there.

yeah, pretty much undisputable that my river 3bet was spewing.. hard to keep control under those circumstances. you're playing for hours and hours and this happens.. very hard to admit to yourself that you no longer have the nuts!

So what did the BB have that he was overplaying? lower set?

BB had Q9, and CO had T/images/graemlins/heart.gif7/images/graemlins/heart.gif .. BB was drawing dead against me, but CO had a flush and gutshot draw. he was going for his flush but made the gutshot.

One thing to remember from all of this. If you have a leak where you automatically cap the river of a 50 big bet pot with top set instead of calling down, it's not going to be a big leak. There are much more important areas of your game that you should be focusing on.

oh i know /images/graemlins/smile.gif this is just a bad bad beat post. i very rarely make them. but this one was extraordinary.
